My intentions in this drawing were to depict a scene (from "The Notebook") depicting one of hollywood's famous romantic moments...an idealized fantasy of what love is, instead of what it truly is today from the eyes of an observer (which is a free for all).

This painting is one of a series, when I still believed in the possibilities of an endless romance. I had intended to do so many of these, but in 2007 when I experienced love and lost it, I have not been able to even start another one of these paintings.
